How Do I Know If My Roof Is Ready For Roof Maxx?

Asphalt shingles contain small, sand-like pebbles that stick together when shingles’ natural oils are intact. Once those oils start to dry out with age, you may see the granules flaking off in your gutters or downspouts.

You might also notice black stains and streaks or shingles cracking, breaking, and curling. Each roof is different, so have your local dealer tell you whether Roof Maxx can help yours.

Fast Service

The whole process usually takes just a couple of hours.  We’ll assess your roof and make sure it’s a good candidate for Roof Maxx. If it is, we’ll tune it up and apply Roof Maxx.

Affordable Price

Natural and affordable alternative to a complicated, expensive and disruptive asphalt roof replacement. And it costs 20% of the cost of a new roof.

With our five-year, transferable warranty, you’ll enjoy the peace of mind that your roof and entire home are protected.

I had a great experience with Roof Maxx. The process went really smooth. The first thing that appealed to me right off the bat was how many shingles are going into landfills every year. Once I learned more about what the product application was and the environmental impacts that you don't have all the shingles being disposed of in the landfills. So the Roof Maxx product, that's why it intrigued me is, hey, we can hang onto our roof another five years or more and not see all the all the waste into the landfills. Plus it probably costs only a third of what a complete tear-off would cost you.

I am the president of a small condo association in Columbus, Ohio. I used Roof Maxx about a year and a half ago in order to extend the life of the roofs on four of my eight buildings. The whole process took maybe a day, day and a half, to do four roofs. They were very, very, efficient, very clean. When they left, couldn't even tell they were there. We saw the benefits from a cost standpoint versus putting a brand new roof on those four buildings and we're looking forward to having our local sales rep come back and give me another estimate in another couple to three years.

I had Roof Maxx come out four years ago. I called, they promptly responded, and I haven't had any problems since. And I will have a reapplication done next year to add additional years to the life of my roof. I've had friends and neighbors ask who I would recommend to take care of their roof because they know that I'm so pleased with the results we had with Roof Maxx. I would highly recommend them to anyone, Because we have not had a single problem since we used their service.

We had the Roof Maxx applied in 2016. When they came out to do the treatment, it really was very straight forward. They put some ladders up, got up onto the roof and sprayed and they said we would see some runoff coming out the gutters. So I think I was a little bit skeptical just because it was a new thing that I had never heard of. Nobody had ever talked to me about this sort of product before, I'd never heard of this sort of thing before, but they were very good about explaining, "This is what the product is, this is how it works. This is what it does." And so I was able to feel, I think, fairly comfortable that it was going to work as they advertised. I watched part of it, it was just a matter of spraying. And then that was it.

A: Roof Maxx® is a bio-oil that when sprayed on asphalt shingles restores much of the petroleum-oils that evaporate over time. In fact we guarantee Roof Maxx® for 5 years once applied. After looking on countless roofs, those of a certain age become brittle and crumbly. Much of the protective layer comes off and once Roof Maxx® restores the shingles to be flexible and to behave like new.

A: It costs about 75% less than replacing your shingles. Current roofing prices are about $4.50 per square foot of roof, and Roof Maxx is $1.25 per square foot. This also keeps tons, literally, of construction waste out of landfills. This type of waste does not biodegrade. On average extending the life of your roof with Roof Maxx® will keep 3.8 tons of waste from the landfill. It just makes economic sense to extend the life of your current roof.

A: You don’t want to apply Roof Maxx® on shingles that are too new but likewise because we offer a 5 year warranty on the product, we cannot apply it to shingles that are too far gone. The sweet spot is actually between 10-20 years old. Some roofs may need to start earlier while others will last longer. We offer a free assessment to determine if you are in the zone to get Roof Maxx and extend the life of your roof. We don’t just say this. If your roof is too new, we will tell you and if it is too far gone, we can refer you to qualified professional roofers.

A: Bechtel Labs in coordination with Ohio State University created this compound. They found that asphalt shingles could last much longer when oils are replaced. Desiring to create a product that could be sprayed on roofs that would be safe for people, plants and pets, they worked with Soy-bean oil to create a special blend that bonds with the molecules of asphalt to return them to a state of flexibility and water repellency.

A: No. Roof Maxx® only returns shingles to their previous state of flexibility and water repellency. It is not a sealant or a coating. It will not repair leaks. As part of our Roof Tune-up, we can replace torn or missing shingles and perform minor repairs, but if you have a leak, it must be repaired before we apply Roof Maxx®.

A: Yes it works! We have even tested it ourselves. We have gone back to some of our original customers and checked on their roof weeks or months after application and their shingles are in amazing shape. We are sometimes even surprised that some of those dry, cracked and sad looking shingles are now flexible and holding onto their granules much better. This is an awesome product that can save you thousands.

A: Yes. You can treat qualified roofs up to 3 times. Our goal is to help you protect your home and all that is inside of it. If a roof is ever too far gone we will recommend you get a replacement. It is too important of an investment. If we can treat it we will. Just think, spend 75% less for 3 treatments and get 15 more years out of your roof. That is close to the lifespan of a new roof meaning you will have saved 25% over 15 years. Now that is smart money. If you are moving or putting on solar, this is also a great option to keep your roof in shape for much longer than usual.

A: When you get your shingles treated with Roof Maxx, you can extend the life of your roof. We are so confident in our product that we offer our own warranty. Roof Maxx Technologies, LLC, proudly warrants that the asphalt shingles treated with Roof Maxx will perform as originally designed and warranted by the shingle manufacturer for a period of at least five (5) years from the date of your treatment.

The Roof Maxx Flexibility Warranty is still valid even if your manufacturer’s warranty is (or becomes) void due to time or transfer restrictions. This is not a warranty against leaks from faulty installation or other damage sustained by the roof (hail, high winds)

A: Yes. Small repairs like shingle replacement, ridge cap replacement, vent replacement can all be completed by our team prior to a treatment or independent of a treatment. We will let you know if you need repairs after we complete your roof inspection. If you have larger repairs, we can refer you to our trusted roofing partners.
